Crew Leader position requires the following competencies and abilities among others:

• Ability to communicate well with customers.

• Crew members, and management.

• Attention to detail.

• Can operate multiple kinds of machines, as well as standard landscape equipment (including skid steers, dingos, and mini excavators)

• A working knowledge of landscaping and hardscape installation. 

• Has basic knowledge of construction principles.

• Good driving record.

• Capable of labor intensive work.

• Desire to grow with our company.

In this position specific responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the on-time and complete delivery of services to all assigned properties.

• Taking initiative to communicate additional sales opportunities.

• Showing special care for company vehicles and equipment.

• Building healthy relationships with customers, management, and team members.

• Communicate effectively through detailed and proactive reporting to operations and management.

• The ability to manage a small crew of workers, as well as a jobsite.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to safely lift up to 90 pounds on a routine basis.

• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• Perform tasks as directed from work order. 

• Perform tasks such as mulching, weeding, trimming, grading, trenching, planting, sod installation, irrigation, and hardscape work (patio and retaining wall installation).

• Must wear work boots, provided Buffalo Hardscapes shirt, and present yourself in a clean and professional manner.

• Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment.

• Must comply with Buffalo Hardscapes policies and procedures.
